God Reigns

God reigns today

He’ll reign forevermore

He will be by our side

Till we reach the other shore

But until then remember

He’s in complete control

And never will relinquish

His kingly, priestly role

So when you are tempted

To fear mere mortal man

Don’t give into the lie

That your life is in his hand

For without your father’s approval

No man can raise a finger

Cause you any problems,

Put you in any danger

Oh, to have the eyesight

Of Elisha on the mount

To know those who are with you

Are more than you can count

What peace of mind we could obtain

If we had our father’s view

Of all the fiery chariots

In their golden hue
